Keys To The Outdoors

Hi, my name is Shane Tyner and I recently took over ownership of Keys to the Outdoors. You may frequently see my boy, Cameron out on the boat with me.

I grew up in Myrtle Point fishing the local rivers. In 2015 I started Tyner’s Guide Service. When Shannon Keys made the decision to retire from guiding, he and his wife Lisa were kind enough to offer me the opportunity to grow and expand. We offer guided trips for Salmon, Steelhead, Small Mouth Bass, and Shad. With the variety of species, we offer trips year-round fishing the Coquille, Elk, Sixes, and Umpqua. This summer we are looking to expand our services so stay tuned.

Have trouble climbing into a drift boat? My boat has a door to allow for better accessibility. We are kid-friendly.

If you are interested in spending a day on the river fishing give me a call at 541-294-4987.

I look forward to meeting with you!

Testimonials

Great trip. Limited by shortly after noon.Shannon is exceptional. Knowledgeable, hard working, personable. Sincerely wants you to have a great experience and catch fish. Little details like bleeding and icing catch immediately, filleting and bagging your fish Is icing on the cake. You won’t be disappointed. We sang his praises all the way back to Florence! He even gave us his family marinade recipe!

Had a fantastic fishing trip with Shannon and three of my friends. Shannon was able to find where the fish were to make sure we all caught our limit. Very knowledgeable fisherman in all aspects. His fishing gear is good quality and well taken care of. Shannon's boat has plenty of room and comfortable. Had a great time and highly recommend "keys to the outdoors" for a Charter Boat trip.

I thoroughly enjoyed fishing with Shannon not only did we put fish in the boat it was a fun trip. The best part was the ability to fish the river or the ocean. Thanks Shannon for a great trip!.

Shannon is an amazing fishing guide and knows the southern Oregon coastal rivers as well as anyone. If there are fish in the river then Shannon will put you on them..
